Praise is a hymnbook for the twenty-first century. Both music and words only editions were launched before the adoption by many churches of Powerpoint hymn presentation. When researching the right typeface for this project, many classics were considered. Pegasus by Berthold Wolpe seemed to be spot on, and was one of his overlooked typefaces. It jumped out for purely aesthetic reasons, but it transpired that Wolpe had designed it as his contribution to Liber Librorum in 1955 to celebrate the fifth centenary of the Gutenberg Bible. What about that for typographical pedigree!
