This catalogue celebrates the work of independent Filmmaker George Snow’s ‘APES’. Originally commissioned by The Arts Council of Great Britain as a twenty minute single screen drama, by 2013 it had evolved into an eleven minute twelve screen immersive installation.
The viewing space created by the circular screen permits groups of up to thirty to freely wander within its confines and immerse themselves in this surreal architectural spectacular.
The project was developed at The Vrije Academie in den Haag, Netherlands, and endorsed by the Escher Museum of that city.
This catalogue is designed to be viewed flexibly with some pages created horizontally, and others vertically.
